Comms Agency Universal McCann Digital Selects HIRO Media to Provide its Buy-Side Online Video Platform

Universal McCann Digital (www.universalmccann.com) Israel, part of the digital media network of global advertising agency network McCann Erickson, announces a partnership with HIRO Media which is now supplying the video ad management solution powering all its multiplatform video buy side activities.

The integration of HIRO Media's ad serving and optimization technology enables media agencies and marketers to control and manage their campaigns directly on the websites while gathering important information about their multisite placements. This avoids discrepancies and ensures a suitable content environment for their ads. These tools are enhanced by HIRO's patented "URL sniffing" algorithm that enables agencies to gather detailed data on all their video ad placements including the actual show in which it is presented.

Amir Weiss, CEO Universal McCann Digital Israel, said: "We are excited about this partnership as the integration of HIRO Media's technology with our services allows brands to gather much more intelligence on how their campaign is performing, a huge advantage in the new and ever evolving marketplace of online video. HIRO's unique "URL sniffing" algorithm enables us, for the first time, to know exactly where our online video ads ran and its "media bank" enables us to manage all our digital campaigns directly."

Ariel Napchi, CEO of HIRO Media, added: "I am delighted that HIRO has been selected to supply Universal McCann Digital's next generation video campaign management and optimization solution. High end media agencies need a powerful and flexible buy side advertising platform. One that can offer seamless integration of data with ad-optimization and campaign management to increase the efficiency of campaigns while minimizing manual intervention and inconsistencies."
